Why Make Dubai Your Base For The 2022 Football World Cup
Posted on September 26, 2022
The soccer (or football!) World Cup kicks off on 21st November through to 18th December 2022, and while it is being hosted in Qatar, we recommend making Dubai your home city for this major tournament. It is the first time the region is hosting and there are close to 100 daily flights being put on by local airlines from Dubai to Qatar. Play more than 5 Troon venues in and around Dubai including Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Hills Golf Club, and Montgomerie Golf Club Dubai.

Challenge yourself on the golf course with the Lions Den at Els Club Dubai
Experience The Lions Den at Els Club Dubai, a seriously challenging moment for any golfer on the course. This three-hole stretch is as tough a stretch of golf holes not just in Dubai, but across the whole of the Middle East. From tee to green, each hole presents a challenge from every element! Number 9 is a long par four with a tough bunker placement along the fairway which forces you to lay up or be aggressive. If you clear it, you have a great look at the green but if you miss, that’s a rough start to this stretch. 10 is another long par 4 in which from the tips, you have to carry 250 yards to avoid yet another fairway bunker. Staying with the theme of long, finish the Lion’s Den with a 184 yard par 3 with a green guarded by four bunkers.
